Portfolio Our services range from German language courses to intercultural coaching, translation, voiceover and professional interpreting services. These five departments work closely together and interconnect for the benefit of the client. Language coaching Our language courses for corporate clients evolved from a 20-year involvement with teaching German as a foreign language and many suggestions, queries and ideas from our students. We focus on the needs of the students and their schedule and individual capabilities. We use advanced coaching techniques such as online coaching to suit the busy schedules of our customers and follow-up programmes with audios CDs and other media tailored to the needs of each student. Beginners and advanced learners alike find the programme to meet their needs at SKS, whether it is a grammar course, conversation training/oral practice or German for business. We run our courses in small groups or one-to-one sessions, during business hours or on weekends, at our school or at your office. Everyone will find the ideal coach in our team of 6 experienced language professionals Intercultural Training In one- or two-day seminars, we introduce foreign managers to German culture and instil our knowledge of Germany. Our programmes are all individually designed after consultation with the client company and each seminar member. With SKS, you can trust in an experienced partner who helps your employee with practical tips and gives him or her a concise overview of his/her new work environment. So far, we have offered intercultural seminars in Berlin, Nuremberg, Erlangen, Herzogenaurach, Munich, Mülheim a.d. Ruhr, Braunschweig, Regensburg and Wetzlar. We can be anywhere you need us. Translations Our clients value nothing more than accurate translations which read like original documents. Therefore we only employ translation experts who have a proven track record and professional accreditation. They cover all language combinations and specialist subject fields. Be it a technical manual, business presentation or a certified translation - we have a translator to suit your needs. To help clients build terminology databases and ensure consistency we also use computer aided translation (CAT) software. And to give you final peace of mind, all our translations are proofread by a second qualified mother-tongue linguist and overseen by a project manager. Voiceover We do multilingual audio recordings for ad agencies, production companies and multinational companies who want to create marketing and sales material exclusively geared to their target market. We are happy to assist you with a sample production so that you can judge the professionalism of our voice talents and the quality of our audio productions first-hand. Voice samples Interpreting Whether you are entertaining an overseas business contact, welcoming a tour group or completing a foreign-language contract, an interpreter can make the difference between success and failure. Our worldwide interpreters are accredited and experienced. They are available at your chosen site to interpret for one-on-one discussions, small group meetings or large conferences. |
